The mission of CVUSD's department of Expanded Learning - Child Development Programs is to support and promote the District's commitment to student success by providing access to vital, comprehensive, and quality enrichment programs and services which reflect and address the needs of our multi-faceted community. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families by providing quality care and education that enhances the child's growth and development, and maintains a safe and positive environment that promotes critical and independent thinking, creativity, and respectful relationships.
Programs Offered
Preschool Programs
Preschool programs focus on providing a safe and secure environment for children to explore and grow.
Subsidized Childcare
Subsidized programs support and promote the CVUSD's commitment to student success by providing access to quality early childhood education programs.
Fun Club
Fun Clubs are tuition, site-based, before and after-school childcare/enrichment programs for students in TK through sixth grade.
SOAR/RAAP
CVUSD’S before and after-school programs offer a safe and engaging environment for children while supporting working families.
Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)
CVUSD’s Expanded Learning Opportunity Program provides enrichment activities, and academic support to TK-6th grade unduplicated populations.
Enrichment Programs
Enrichment Programs are offered at no cost for eligible students currently enrolled in grades TK-6th.
