Chino Valley Unified School District

Student Achievement - Safe Schools - Positive School Climate

Measure G

Measure G is a $750 million school facilities bond approved by Chino Valley Unified School District voters on November 8, 2016, with 55.99% voter approval. This measure reflects the community’s commitment to maintaining safe, modern, and effective learning environments for all students. Measure G supports the repair and modernization of aging school facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, and infrastructure, replacing deteriorating pipes to help ensure safe drinking water, as well as upgrades to safety systems, technology, and instructional spaces such as science and computer labs. The bond also allows for the construction, acquisition, and improvement of school sites and facilities to meet the District’s current and future needs.

This investment is reflected in new and improved facilities that provide enhanced learning environments for students and staff, supporting efforts to raise student achievement, increase graduation rates, and prepare students for college and careers. Many District schools were built decades ago and require basic health and safety improvements. Measure G addresses these needs by renovating older buildings, increasing student safety, and expanding access to classroom technology. The measure also includes strict accountability requirements, including independent citizens’ oversight and annual audits, and ensures that funds are used only for voter-approved school facility improvements and not for administrator salaries or pensions.
