Drop off for camp is normal time on Monday. Students can bring their belongings to the classroom in the morning to prepare for departure. Please have all luggage marked with student's name. Sleeping bags and pillows should be in a plastice trash bag to keep clean during trasport. If your child is bringing prescription medication that has been cleared through your doctor with proper paperwork for camp, please deliver it to me personally marked with your scholar's name. Remember, no food, money, electronics of any kind, or medications may be brought to camp. Please remember to pack a hat, sunscreen, and chapstick.
The link to the suggested packing list is on last week's homework page. The students brought home instructions for the shutterfly account on Wednesday. While we are at camp, we will post to the account. Also for your viewing pleasure, students will be featured on the camp's live webcam on Wednesday, October 26th at 11:50 am. Be sure to tune in to see how much fun your child will be having.
See you Monday morning.
Thank you for all the classroom donations. I know your kiddos will appreciate the soft tissues as well as everything else. I am looking forwad to a great year.
Dear Stanford Families,
Welcome to 6th grade and what promises to be an amazing year for your scholar. Our classroom is Stanford University. I am very excited to be your child’s teacher and for all the wonderful things we will accomplish together this year. Your child’s education is a partnership I am excited to be a part of. The parent, scholar, and the professor all need to work together so our scholars can achieve their best.
The 6th Grade Team at Rhodes has put together a list of supplies we feel will help your child be successful in the coming year. Please have these supplies by Friday, August 26th. If you have any questions or difficulty in obtaining these items, please let me know so I may assist.
